Our 2022 Show is a huge success - despite the heat!
Oare & District Show - Saturday 16th July 2022
It was great to have the Show back in Pound Lane Field again - and fabulous to see so many people there braving the hot temperatures and enjoying the music and activities.
Many congratulations to all our Show winners, particularly our cup winners:
- Best in Show Fruit and Veg (Peter Coles Shield) - Julia Hiscox
- Best Floral - Julie Carty
- Best Produce - Jonathan Thompson (for his delicious chutney)
Thank you to our many raffle prize donors for their incredible generosity - and some truly outstanding prizes.
Massive thanks to Oare School Choir and Phoenix Brass Band for entertaining us so wonderfully - both were utterly brilliant.
And finally thank you to everyone who baked all those delicious cakes and scones - and to the amazing team in the kitchen who served up teas all afternoon.
